About My Work
I'm a software developer and data scientist by profession, but photography has been a personal pursuit for many years — one rooted in curiosity rather than formal training. I tend to approach it informally, often while walking through cities or unfamiliar places with a camera in hand. What draws my attention are colors, patterns, textures, geometric forms, and the slow transformation of built environments as they age and decay.
The images collected here span nearly two decades. Some were taken close to home, especially during the stillness of the pandemic in Montreal. Others are from farther away. What connects them is a shared interest in overlooked details — and in seeing everyday spaces from a new perspective. Sometimes that means finding beauty in the ordinary, or discovering something unexpected by focusing on either the small details or the broader view.
While my work in technology is often structured and precise, photography offers something looser and more intuitive. It's a way of noticing — of slowing down — and finding small visual surprises in the world around me.
